First Impression of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
Well, guys, I’m back into another First Impression blog. This game is the Uncharted: The Lost Legacy.
If you don’t know, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is a standalone expansion of the Uncharted world. You play as Chloe. And you would know why you don’t play as Drake if you’ve completed the 4th Uncharted game.
Anyways, to the game….
I got to say, the visuals to the game is outstanding! I’ve always say that about the Uncharted series, and I will continue to say that. The graphics looks gorgeous! Just taking a look around the game makes my jaw goes to the floor.
The scenery is great, too. You are in India. A section with all the shacks. The environment was done well. Something I’ve noticed in Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, is the colors kind of pop out to you. That’s something that the other Uncharted games didn’t have. It seems like the colors is vibrant in the game. It also has the feel that you are actually in the game!
The gameplay is what you expect in an Uncharted game. It’s your basic side scrolling type of game. Where you jump on a rock then position the camera to make another jump. I’ve haven’t played the game that long, but I’m liking the camera controls to this game.
If their were one knock I have with the Uncharted series, is the camera controls. Half the fight is with the camera controls. You have to be perfect for you to get the jump right. And at times I felt like I had to fight the controls more than the AI. Luckily, this game got it right!
The story seems interesting. From what I’ve played, it sounds decent. Again, if you played an Uncharted game, you know it’s about treasure hunting. Which this is looking to be like. I wonder if we will have the same type of “mystic power” ending like Uncharted 2 & 3 turned out to be….
Anyways, I’m enjoying the game. Can’t wait to play more of it. The game is classic Uncharted feel. Which I know I will be frustrated with all the puzzles >_>. But, I will enjoy every single one of them
